How To Uninstall ruby-powerpack On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-powerpack just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-powerpack

Useful extensions to core Ruby classesDebian 9.0ruby0.1.1-3
sudo apt-get remove ruby-powerpack

This will remove just the ruby-powerpack package itself.

Uninstall ruby-powerpack and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-powerpack

This will remove the ruby-powerpack package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-powerpack then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-powerpack

Or similarly, like this ruby-powerpack

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-powerpack
