How To Uninstall ruby-prof On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-prof just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-prof

Fast Ruby profilerDebian 9.0ruby0.16.2+dfsg-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-prof

This will remove just the ruby-prof package itself.

Uninstall ruby-prof and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-prof

This will remove the ruby-prof package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-prof then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-prof

Or similarly, like this ruby-prof

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-prof
