How To Uninstall ruby-puppet-forge On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-puppet-forge just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-puppet-forge

Access the Puppet Forge API from RubyDebian 9.0ruby2.2.2-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-puppet-forge

This will remove just the ruby-puppet-forge package itself.

Uninstall ruby-puppet-forge and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-puppet-forge

This will remove the ruby-puppet-forge package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-puppet-forge then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-puppet-forge

Or similarly, like this ruby-puppet-forge

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-puppet-forge
