How To Uninstall ruby-rack-cache On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-rack-cache just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-rack-cache

HTTP Caching for RackDebian 9.0ruby1.2-4
sudo apt-get remove ruby-rack-cache

This will remove just the ruby-rack-cache package itself.

Uninstall ruby-rack-cache and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-rack-cache

This will remove the ruby-rack-cache package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-rack-cache then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-rack-cache

Or similarly, like this ruby-rack-cache

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-rack-cache
