How To Uninstall ruby-rack-cors On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-rack-cors just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-rack-cors

enable Cross-Origin Resource Sharing in Rack appsDebian 9.0ruby0.4.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-rack-cors

This will remove just the ruby-rack-cors package itself.

Uninstall ruby-rack-cors and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-rack-cors

This will remove the ruby-rack-cors package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-rack-cors then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-rack-cors

Or similarly, like this ruby-rack-cors

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-rack-cors
