How To Uninstall ruby-rack-openid On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-rack-openid just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-rack-openid

Ruby Rack library to provide access to OpenIDDebian 9.0ruby1.4.2-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-rack-openid

This will remove just the ruby-rack-openid package itself.

Uninstall ruby-rack-openid and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-rack-openid

This will remove the ruby-rack-openid package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-rack-openid then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-rack-openid

Or similarly, like this ruby-rack-openid

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-rack-openid
