How To Uninstall ruby-raemon On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-raemon just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-raemon

framework for building UNIX daemonsDebian 9.0ruby0.3.0+git.2012.05.18.b78eaae57c-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-raemon

This will remove just the ruby-raemon package itself.

Uninstall ruby-raemon and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-raemon

This will remove the ruby-raemon package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-raemon then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-raemon

Or similarly, like this ruby-raemon

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-raemon
