How To Uninstall ruby-rd On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-rd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-rd

RDTool library for Ruby - libraryDebian 9.0ruby0.6.38-4
sudo apt-get remove ruby-rd

This will remove just the ruby-rd package itself.

Uninstall ruby-rd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-rd

This will remove the ruby-rd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-rd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-rd

Or similarly, like this ruby-rd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-rd
