How To Uninstall ruby-redcloth On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-redcloth just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-redcloth

Textile module for RubyDebian 9.0ruby4.3.2-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-redcloth

This will remove just the ruby-redcloth package itself.

Uninstall ruby-redcloth and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-redcloth

This will remove the ruby-redcloth package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-redcloth then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-redcloth

Or similarly, like this ruby-redcloth

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-redcloth
