How To Uninstall ruby-redis-activesupport On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-redis-activesupport just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-redis-activesupport

Redis store for ActiveSupport::CacheDebian 9.0ruby4.1.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-redis-activesupport

This will remove just the ruby-redis-activesupport package itself.

Uninstall ruby-redis-activesupport and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-redis-activesupport

This will remove the ruby-redis-activesupport package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-redis-activesupport then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-redis-activesupport

Or similarly, like this ruby-redis-activesupport

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-redis-activesupport
