How To Uninstall ruby-redis-namespace On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-redis-namespace just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-redis-namespace

Namespaces commands when multiple apps access same redis serverDebian 9.0ruby1.5.2-3
sudo apt-get remove ruby-redis-namespace

This will remove just the ruby-redis-namespace package itself.

Uninstall ruby-redis-namespace and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-redis-namespace

This will remove the ruby-redis-namespace package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-redis-namespace then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-redis-namespace

Or similarly, like this ruby-redis-namespace

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-redis-namespace
