How To Uninstall ruby-redis-store On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-redis-store just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-redis-store

redis stores for Ruby frameworksDebian 9.0ruby1.1.6-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-redis-store

This will remove just the ruby-redis-store package itself.

Uninstall ruby-redis-store and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-redis-store

This will remove the ruby-redis-store package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-redis-store then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-redis-store

Or similarly, like this ruby-redis-store

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-redis-store
