How To Uninstall ruby-remctl On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-remctl just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-remctl

Ruby extension for Kerberos-authenticated command executionDebian 9.0ruby3.13-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-remctl

This will remove just the ruby-remctl package itself.

Uninstall ruby-remctl and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-remctl

This will remove the ruby-remctl package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-remctl then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-remctl

Or similarly, like this ruby-remctl

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-remctl
