How To Uninstall ruby-rrd On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-rrd just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-rrd

time-series data storage and display system (Ruby interfaces)Debian 9.0ruby1.6.0-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-rrd

This will remove just the ruby-rrd package itself.

Uninstall ruby-rrd and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-rrd

This will remove the ruby-rrd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-rrd then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-rrd

Or similarly, like this ruby-rrd

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-rrd
