How To Uninstall ruby-selinux On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-selinux just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-selinux

Ruby bindings to SELinux shared librariesDebian 9.0ruby2.6-3+b1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-selinux

This will remove just the ruby-selinux package itself.

Uninstall ruby-selinux and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-selinux

This will remove the ruby-selinux package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-selinux then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-selinux

Or similarly, like this ruby-selinux

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-selinux
