How To Uninstall ruby-semanage On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-semanage just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-semanage

Ruby bindings to for SELinux policy managementDebian 9.0ruby2.6-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-semanage

This will remove just the ruby-semanage package itself.

Uninstall ruby-semanage and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-semanage

This will remove the ruby-semanage package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-semanage then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-semanage

Or similarly, like this ruby-semanage

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-semanage
