How To Uninstall vim-haproxy On Debian 9

To uninstall vim-haproxy just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just vim-haproxy

sudo apt-get remove vim-haproxy

This will remove just the vim-haproxy package itself.

Uninstall vim-haproxy and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove vim-haproxy

This will remove the vim-haproxy package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for vim-haproxy then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge vim-haproxy

Or similarly, like this vim-haproxy

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove vim-haproxy
