How To Uninstall x11-xserver-utils On Debian 9

To uninstall x11-xserver-utils just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just x11-xserver-utils

linuxX server utilitiesx117.7+7+b1
sudo apt-get remove x11-xserver-utils

This will remove just the x11-xserver-utils package itself.

Uninstall x11-xserver-utils and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove x11-xserver-utils

This will remove the x11-xserver-utils package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for x11-xserver-utils then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge x11-xserver-utils

Or similarly, like this x11-xserver-utils

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove x11-xserver-utils
