How To Uninstall x11vnc On Debian 9

To uninstall x11vnc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just x11vnc

VNC server to allow remote access to an existing X sessionDebian 9.0x110.9.13-2
sudo apt-get remove x11vnc

This will remove just the x11vnc package itself.

Uninstall x11vnc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove x11vnc

This will remove the x11vnc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for x11vnc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge x11vnc

Or similarly, like this x11vnc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove x11vnc
