How To Uninstall xcftools On Debian 9

To uninstall xcftools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xcftools

linuxcommand-line tools for extracting data for XCF filesgraphics1.0.7-6
sudo apt-get remove xcftools

This will remove just the xcftools package itself.

Uninstall xcftools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xcftools

This will remove the xcftools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xcftools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xcftools

Or similarly, like this xcftools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xcftools
