How To Uninstall xchm On Debian 9

To uninstall xchm just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xchm

Compiled HTML Help (CHM) file viewer for XDebian 9.0x112:1.23-2+b2
sudo apt-get remove xchm

This will remove just the xchm package itself.

Uninstall xchm and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xchm

This will remove the xchm package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xchm then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xchm

Or similarly, like this xchm

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xchm
