How To Uninstall xdmx-tools On Debian 9

To uninstall xdmx-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xdmx-tools

Distributed Multihead X toolsDebian 9.0x112:1.19.2-1
sudo apt-get remove xdmx-tools

This will remove just the xdmx-tools package itself.

Uninstall xdmx-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xdmx-tools

This will remove the xdmx-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xdmx-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xdmx-tools

Or similarly, like this xdmx-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xdmx-tools
