How To Uninstall xdu On Debian 9

To uninstall xdu just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xdu

display the output of "du" in an X windowDebian 9.0utils3.0-18+b2
sudo apt-get remove xdu

This will remove just the xdu package itself.

Uninstall xdu and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xdu

This will remove the xdu package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xdu then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xdu

Or similarly, like this xdu

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xdu
