How To Uninstall xen-linux-system-amd64 On Debian 9

To uninstall xen-linux-system-amd64 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xen-linux-system-amd64

linuxXen system with Linux for 64-bit PCs (dummy package)oldlibs4.9+80
sudo apt-get remove xen-linux-system-amd64

This will remove just the xen-linux-system-amd64 package itself.

Uninstall xen-linux-system-amd64 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xen-linux-system-amd64

This will remove the xen-linux-system-amd64 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xen-linux-system-amd64 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xen-linux-system-amd64

Or similarly, like this xen-linux-system-amd64

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xen-linux-system-amd64
