How To Uninstall xfonts-intl-arabic On Debian 9

To uninstall xfonts-intl-arabic just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xfonts-intl-arabic

international fonts for X - ArabicDebian 9.0fonts1.2.1-10
sudo apt-get remove xfonts-intl-arabic

This will remove just the xfonts-intl-arabic package itself.

Uninstall xfonts-intl-arabic and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xfonts-intl-arabic

This will remove the xfonts-intl-arabic package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xfonts-intl-arabic then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xfonts-intl-arabic

Or similarly, like this xfonts-intl-arabic

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xfonts-intl-arabic
