How To Uninstall xfonts-terminus-dos On Debian 9

To uninstall xfonts-terminus-dos just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xfonts-terminus-dos

linuxFixed-width fonts for DOS encodingsfonts4.40-2
sudo apt-get remove xfonts-terminus-dos

This will remove just the xfonts-terminus-dos package itself.

Uninstall xfonts-terminus-dos and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xfonts-terminus-dos

This will remove the xfonts-terminus-dos package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xfonts-terminus-dos then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xfonts-terminus-dos

Or similarly, like this xfonts-terminus-dos

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xfonts-terminus-dos
