How To Uninstall xiphos On Debian 9

To uninstall xiphos just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xiphos

environment for Bible reading, study, and researchDebian 9.0gnome4.0.4+dfsg1-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove xiphos

This will remove just the xiphos package itself.

Uninstall xiphos and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xiphos

This will remove the xiphos package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xiphos then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xiphos

Or similarly, like this xiphos

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xiphos
