How To Uninstall xli On Debian 9

To uninstall xli just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xli

command line tool for viewing images in X11Debian 9.0graphics1.17.0+20061110-4+b3
sudo apt-get remove xli

This will remove just the xli package itself.

Uninstall xli and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xli

This will remove the xli package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xli then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xli

Or similarly, like this xli

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xli
