How To Uninstall xmldiff On Debian 9

To uninstall xmldiff just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xmldiff

tree to tree correction between xml documentsDebian 9.0text0.6.10-3
sudo apt-get remove xmldiff

This will remove just the xmldiff package itself.

Uninstall xmldiff and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xmldiff

This will remove the xmldiff package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xmldiff then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xmldiff

Or similarly, like this xmldiff

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xmldiff
