How To Uninstall xosd-bin On Debian 9

To uninstall xosd-bin just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xosd-bin

linuxX On-Screen Display library - binary filesx112.2.14-2.1+b1
sudo apt-get remove xosd-bin

This will remove just the xosd-bin package itself.

Uninstall xosd-bin and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xosd-bin

This will remove the xosd-bin package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xosd-bin then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xosd-bin

Or similarly, like this xosd-bin

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xosd-bin
