How To Uninstall xosview On Debian 9

To uninstall xosview just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xosview

linuxX based system monitorutils1.19-1
sudo apt-get remove xosview

This will remove just the xosview package itself.

Uninstall xosview and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xosview

This will remove the xosview package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xosview then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xosview

Or similarly, like this xosview

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xosview
