How To Uninstall xpa-tools On Debian 9

To uninstall xpa-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xpa-tools

Tools for seamless communication between Unix programsDebian 9.0science2.1.18-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove xpa-tools

This will remove just the xpa-tools package itself.

Uninstall xpa-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xpa-tools

This will remove the xpa-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xpa-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xpa-tools

Or similarly, like this xpa-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xpa-tools
