How To Uninstall xpn On Debian 9

To uninstall xpn just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xpn

linuxgraphical newsreader written in Python and GTK+ toolkitnews1.2.6-5.1
sudo apt-get remove xpn

This will remove just the xpn package itself.

Uninstall xpn and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xpn

This will remove the xpn package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xpn then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xpn

Or similarly, like this xpn

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xpn
