How To Uninstall xprobe On Debian 9

To uninstall xprobe just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xprobe

Remote OS identificationDebian 9.0net0.3-3
sudo apt-get remove xprobe

This will remove just the xprobe package itself.

Uninstall xprobe and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xprobe

This will remove the xprobe package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xprobe then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xprobe

Or similarly, like this xprobe

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xprobe
