How To Uninstall xscreensaver-screensaver-bsod On Debian 9

To uninstall xscreensaver-screensaver-bsod just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xscreensaver-screensaver-bsod

linuxBSOD screen saver module from XScreenSaverx115.36-1
sudo apt-get remove xscreensaver-screensaver-bsod

This will remove just the xscreensaver-screensaver-bsod package itself.

Uninstall xscreensaver-screensaver-bsod and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xscreensaver-screensaver-bsod

This will remove the xscreensaver-screensaver-bsod package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xscreensaver-screensaver-bsod then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xscreensaver-screensaver-bsod

Or similarly, like this xscreensaver-screensaver-bsod

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xscreensaver-screensaver-bsod
