How To Uninstall xserver-xephyr On Debian 9

To uninstall xserver-xephyr just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xserver-xephyr

nested X serverDebian 9.0x112:1.19.2-1
sudo apt-get remove xserver-xephyr

This will remove just the xserver-xephyr package itself.

Uninstall xserver-xephyr and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xserver-xephyr

This will remove the xserver-xephyr package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xserver-xephyr then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xserver-xephyr

Or similarly, like this xserver-xephyr

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xserver-xephyr
