How To Uninstall xserver-xorg-video-radeon On Debian 9

To uninstall xserver-xorg-video-radeon just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xserver-xorg-video-radeon

linuxX.Org X server -- AMD/ATI Radeon display driverx111:7.8.0-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove xserver-xorg-video-radeon

This will remove just the xserver-xorg-video-radeon package itself.

Uninstall xserver-xorg-video-radeon and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xserver-xorg-video-radeon

This will remove the xserver-xorg-video-radeon package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xserver-xorg-video-radeon then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xserver-xorg-video-radeon

Or similarly, like this xserver-xorg-video-radeon

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xserver-xorg-video-radeon
