How To Uninstall xserver-xorg On Debian 9

To uninstall xserver-xorg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xserver-xorg

linuxX.Org X serverx111:7.7+19
sudo apt-get remove xserver-xorg

This will remove just the xserver-xorg package itself.

Uninstall xserver-xorg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xserver-xorg

This will remove the xserver-xorg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xserver-xorg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xserver-xorg

Or similarly, like this xserver-xorg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xserver-xorg
