How To Uninstall xstow On Debian 9

To uninstall xstow just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xstow

Extended replacement of GNU StowDebian 9.0utils1.0.2-1
sudo apt-get remove xstow

This will remove just the xstow package itself.

Uninstall xstow and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xstow

This will remove the xstow package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xstow then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xstow

Or similarly, like this xstow

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xstow
