How To Uninstall xsunpinyin On Debian 9

To uninstall xsunpinyin just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xsunpinyin

Standalone XIM server for SunpinyinDebian 9.0utils2.0.3-4+b2
sudo apt-get remove xsunpinyin

This will remove just the xsunpinyin package itself.

Uninstall xsunpinyin and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xsunpinyin

This will remove the xsunpinyin package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xsunpinyin then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xsunpinyin

Or similarly, like this xsunpinyin

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xsunpinyin
