How To Uninstall xsynth-dssi On Debian 9

To uninstall xsynth-dssi just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xsynth-dssi

linuxclassic-analog (VCOs-VCF-VCA) style software synthesizersound0.9.4-2
sudo apt-get remove xsynth-dssi

This will remove just the xsynth-dssi package itself.

Uninstall xsynth-dssi and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xsynth-dssi

This will remove the xsynth-dssi package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xsynth-dssi then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xsynth-dssi

Or similarly, like this xsynth-dssi

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xsynth-dssi
