How To Uninstall xtrlock On Debian 9

To uninstall xtrlock just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xtrlock

Minimal X display lock programDebian 9.0x112.8
sudo apt-get remove xtrlock

This will remove just the xtrlock package itself.

Uninstall xtrlock and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xtrlock

This will remove the xtrlock package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xtrlock then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xtrlock

Or similarly, like this xtrlock

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xtrlock
