How To Uninstall xwrits On Debian 9

To uninstall xwrits just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xwrits

reminds you to take a break from typingDebian 9.0x112.21-6.1+b2
sudo apt-get remove xwrits

This will remove just the xwrits package itself.

Uninstall xwrits and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xwrits

This will remove the xwrits package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xwrits then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xwrits

Or similarly, like this xwrits

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xwrits
