How To Uninstall xxgdb On Debian 9

To uninstall xxgdb just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xxgdb

linuxAn X front-end to the GNU debugger gdbdevel1.12-17+b2
sudo apt-get remove xxgdb

This will remove just the xxgdb package itself.

Uninstall xxgdb and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xxgdb

This will remove the xxgdb package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xxgdb then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xxgdb

Or similarly, like this xxgdb

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xxgdb
