How To Uninstall xymon-client On Debian 9

To uninstall xymon-client just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xymon-client

client for the Xymon network monitorDebian 9.0net4.3.28-2
sudo apt-get remove xymon-client

This will remove just the xymon-client package itself.

Uninstall xymon-client and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xymon-client

This will remove the xymon-client package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xymon-client then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xymon-client

Or similarly, like this xymon-client

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xymon-client
