How To Uninstall amiwm On Debian 9

To uninstall amiwm just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just amiwm

The Amiga look alike window managerDebian 9.0non-free/x110.20.48-8
sudo apt-get remove amiwm

This will remove just the amiwm package itself.

Uninstall amiwm and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove amiwm

This will remove the amiwm package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for amiwm then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge amiwm

Or similarly, like this amiwm

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove amiwm
