How To Uninstall atmel-firmware On Debian 9

To uninstall atmel-firmware just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just atmel-firmware

Firmware for Atmel at76c50x wireless networking chips.Debian 9.0non-free/kernel1.3-4
sudo apt-get remove atmel-firmware

This will remove just the atmel-firmware package itself.

Uninstall atmel-firmware and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove atmel-firmware

This will remove the atmel-firmware package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for atmel-firmware then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge atmel-firmware

Or similarly, like this atmel-firmware

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove atmel-firmware
