How To Uninstall bluez-firmware On Debian 9

To uninstall bluez-firmware just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just bluez-firmware

Firmware for Bluetooth devicesDebian 9.0non-free/kernel1.2-3
sudo apt-get remove bluez-firmware

This will remove just the bluez-firmware package itself.

Uninstall bluez-firmware and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove bluez-firmware

This will remove the bluez-firmware package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for bluez-firmware then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge bluez-firmware

Or similarly, like this bluez-firmware

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove bluez-firmware
