How To Uninstall cpio-doc On Debian 9

To uninstall cpio-doc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cpio-doc

Documentation for the cpio packageDebian 9.0non-free/doc2.11-1
sudo apt-get remove cpio-doc

This will remove just the cpio-doc package itself.

Uninstall cpio-doc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cpio-doc

This will remove the cpio-doc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cpio-doc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cpio-doc

Or similarly, like this cpio-doc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cpio-doc
