How To Uninstall firmware-amd-graphics On Debian 9

To uninstall firmware-amd-graphics just follow these instructions.

sudo apt-get remove firmware-amd-graphics

This will remove just the firmware-amd-graphics package itself.

Uninstall firmware-amd-graphics and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove firmware-amd-graphics

This will remove the firmware-amd-graphics package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for firmware-amd-graphics then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge firmware-amd-graphics

Or similarly, like this firmware-amd-graphics

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove firmware-amd-graphics
